Court Etiquette
To enhance the enjoyment of the game and the safe use
of the tennis club facilities, all players are requested to observe the
following rules and common courtesies:
-
sign on to the court reservation board with your
start time
-
do not interfere with other players who are playing a point
-
wait until between points before crossing behind another court in play
-
when a ball from another court lands in your court, play a let
-
do not enter another court to retrieve your ball, they will return it
in due course
-
promptly return another court’s ball, but only when they are between
points
-
no foul language or overly boisterous play should be used
-
proper tennis footwear must be used (no sandals or bare feet)
-
no skateboards, rollerblades, or bikes are allowed on the courts
-
turn off the lights if you are the last player leaving at night
