Tournaments

Tournaments are organized from time to time to promote the activities of the club and provide an opportunity for competitive match play. These events are usually very well organized. Detailed scheduling, scoring, ranking, food, and community sponsorship are part of the mix, including impressive prizes for those who rise to the top.

A preliminary round robin round is usually held in the morning and based on your results; you will be placed in an A, B, or C Flight. This process helps to equalize skill levels which will make the afternoon sessions much more competitive against players of similar abilities.

The afternoon flights will then play in a sudden death elimination format, until a winning team is left standing. Prizes are usually awarded to the winners and runners up in each flight.

NOTE:  There are no tournaments currently planned for 2008.
